Forêt domaniale de Meudon

Forêt domaniale de Meudon
Meudon
92190 MEUDON

Meudon Forest and its 9 lakes, all of which are a favourite with anglers, can be discovered across all of its 1100 hectares on foot, on horseback or by bicycle. The forest is made up of chestnut trees in the main, with a sprinkling of beech and oak. Under their foliage hide more than 7000 animal species. Walkers will find 16.5 km of footpaths, including one which will take them all the way around this beautiful forest in around 5 hours. If you look carefully, close to the Garenne Crossroads, you will find the "Monks' Stone", a Neolithic menhir which stands as testimony to the first inhabitants of Hauts-de-Seine.
