This park, a veritable ‘green lung’ in the north of the Hauts-de-Seine department, extends over 70 hectares between Gennevilliers and Villeneuve-la-Garenne. From which ever way you approach it, it opens up its grassy lawns, its gentle valleys and its groves for your exploration. Its winding walkers’ paths bordered by pines, birches and plane trees are frequented by casual strollers or hosts of runners and joggers. It is home to tree frogs and birds, as well as to farm animals in the reconstruction of a XIXth century Normandy Vexin farm that can be found there, in which visitors pass through the kitchen garden, the fruit orchards and the animal enclosure with its cattle, chickens, goats and sheep. But a particularly important attraction of the park is the place given to water sports: diving (Aqua 92, 01.40.85.81.28), supervised bathing (1st May to 30th September), the water sports centre (kayak, diving, sailing and wind-surfing), ball games, archery, table tennis and other activities, all open to 12 to 18 year-olds. Finally, for a restful and satisfying exploration of the park, a tourist train weaves its way through the park on a 5.5 km circuit. Close by, there is the Cirque de Paris (01.47.99.40.40), a pony club, a Guignol puppet theatre and a roundabout. Children’s play areas, walking trail, cycle path, fountains and catering facilities.
