In the heart of the Parc de la Vallée-aux-Loups, close to the Maison de Chateaubriand, the arboretum is a place with many different aspects offering throughout the seasons the exciting spectacle of remarkable trees and the charming displays of its gardens designed as if they were paintings, including fruit gardens, a landscaped garden in the Romantic English style and a flamboyant autumn garden. Listed among the picturesque sites of France, it contains a collection of 500 different varieties of trees and shrubs deployed harmoniously over 13.5 hectares.
