Opened in 1988 and characterised by black drawings on a white background enhanced with red and blue, typical of the so-called Hourloupe period. The windowless building designed by Jean Dubuffet conceals steps which allow the visitor to stroll in a strictly imaginary garden which contrasts with the natural environment outside. The 24-metre high tower, with a load-bearing framework of reinforced concrete and a shell of laminated epoxy glass, rests on foundations that go down 35 metres into the ground.
